1. Hybrid Reasoning Agents: think in latent space, act in text / 混合推理 Agent:隐空间思考,文本行动

English: Together AI researchers report that HybridAgent combines latent-space reasoning with textual actions. Across three model scales and eleven benchmarks, the paper reports a 10.4% average performance gain, 35.5%–54.7% fewer tokens, 1.8–2.6× faster reasoning, and 2.7–3.7× lower cost. These are author-reported results and still need independent replication.

2. GitHub cuts secret-scanning serving cost by more than 98% / GitHub

English: GitHub uses high-recall regular expressions to generate candidates, then a fine-tuned ModernBERT model classifies them using file paths, variable names, and surrounding context. GitHub reports an 11.5% improvement in user-weighted acceptance, an 86% reduction in median post-push scan time, and more than 98% lower serving cost than its remote LLM pipeline.

English: Two Stack Overflow engineers used Codex to build its Agents product in weeks. Connector development fell from a typical three-to-six weeks to four days, then one day. After a ChatGPT plugin reduced configuration friction, sign-ups tripled and Agent creation rose by as much as tenfold.

4. Billions of agents need database safety, not a new database theory / 数十亿 Agent 更需要数据库安全,而非重写数据库理论

English: Database researcher Andy Pavlo argues that agentic workloads do not yet require a fundamentally new database architecture. The urgent requirement is operational scaffolding: database branching, copy-on-write snapshots, least-privilege access, auditability, and recovery applied at machine speed.

5. Agent-to-agent delegation crosses work and personal boundaries / Agent-to-Agent

English: OpenAI's Thibault Sottiaux described a workflow in which a work agent emailed his personal agent, which then coordinated with his CPA to gather documents and handle tax-filing tasks in roughly twenty minutes.

对 opcpay.org 读者的意义
